Art

Clarence studied at the Slade School of Art in London. He specialises in portraiture and painted the late Queen twice. Several of his paintings hang in the National Portrait Gallery.

Latin

Professor Buddy won the Gaisford prize for Greek verse as an undergraduate at Oxford. He has translated Vergil's
Georgics and is embarking on a translation of the Aeneid.

History

Professor Fluffy is an expert on the Whig interpretation of History and the Roman Republic. He was a historical consultant for the film Gladiator and has been comissioned to make documentaries for the BBC.

Sports

Games 'coach' Looby-Loo grew up in Santa Monica, California where she became a star beach volleyball player. She has embraced the differences between the US and the UK.

Maths

Adam the Adder completed a PhD in Complex Algebra at Oxford where he came close to solving the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture. Disillusioned by faculty politics he became accountant to King Joey, and then head of Maths.

Divinity

Tea Monkey is a lay preacher in the Church of England, a Third Order Franciscan, a spiritual adviser to King Joey and a good friend of the Pope.

Headmaster & English

Mighty Pup is the eighteen Head Master of Moleborough College. He is seen as a moderniser and introduced central heating in the toilet block. He is an expert on Beowulf.
